The Academy at Counseling In Canton
Thank you for visiting! I am not sure why you are here but I believe it is because you would like some information on becoming a Christian or Biblical Counselor.
- Do you have a strong desire to help people?
- Are you the one that people come to with their problems?
- Do you have a passion for seeing people walk in the freedom found in Christ Jesus?
- Have you experienced victory in an area of your life and you want to share the good news with others?
- Are you tired of solutions that just offer temporary relief and behavior modification?
- Do you enjoy learning?
If so, becoming a Licensed Christian Counselor is a great option for you. Depression, anxiety, traumas, and addictions of all sorts are very common in our world. People need hope and His name is Jesus.
There is a need for trained Christian Counselors to bring biblical solutions to spiritual problems.
This is the time to enter into this spiritual battle. As Christians, we have answers for those that are lost, hurting angry, depressed, fearful or grieving.
The National Christian Counselors Association (NCCA) is the world’s largest organization of Christian Counselors and is dedicated to training those who want to embark on a journey of helping others.

The training adjusts to meet the needs of Christians with different goals, including:
- Christians who want to be better equipped to minister to those who need counsel;
- Pastors who want to learn how to counsel members of their community who are experiencing problems;
- Christians who want to be credentialed and provide pastoral counseling as a part-time or full-time ministry;
- Professional counselors who want to become A.P.S. certified and learn a Biblically-based counseling model with proven success.
